Just wrapped a 2 day music video shot in Brooklyn, NY and Manhattan. First day was some small studio setups and a club scene. The second day was a lot of exteriors and a small apartment in the Village...well actually its pretty big for the Village.

MKI Zeiss Super Speeds are rock solid for the price and faster than the heavier Cooke S4s. A good choice for a mostly handheld club (read: dark) music video.

The video was originally slated to be shot with the RED but at the last minute the producer decided the workflow was too complicated for the turn around time needed on this project.

nice polished looking shots. Love the B and W stuff.. Stunning! I think this cam shines in those uber clean lookign black and whites since most of the noise is in the color info.

cheers and when will you have the finished piece. Hot looking women and visuals... congrats!

Images look very clean and polished, one thing that I have learned and it has stuck with me is not to use tracks with vocals on reels displaying a substantial amount of shots with artists singing. Its not visually pleasing when a mouth is moving to different words. Just my opinion though. Nice Stuff

good stuff.

Looking at some of your other videos such as "Two Piece Meal" I was very impressed with your handheld shots. How did you make them seem so steady and floaty feeling? Was it something like a glidecam? or just a steady hand?
