GH1 LCD + Viewfinder run simultaneously?

Hey everyone,

Is there a way to have the GH1 viewfinder + flip out LCD screen running simultaneously? It seems one turns off depending on where my eye is.

For my shooting purposes, this would probably make up for lack of live monitoring. Is there a way?

yeah, somewhere in the option menu, there's an "auto lcd/evf" option...turn it off.

sorry, i'd be more detailed, but my cam isn't in front of me...

Hmmm not sure if it will do both but you can at least turn off the auto setting.
