GH1 How to do Super Slowmo?

Hi guys. Is it possible to do a super slow motion with the GH1? Is the best we can do, is set the GH1 on 60FPS mode and then slow it down in editor like Premiere etc? Also what is ideal shutter speed to do it and is it possible to achieve higher frame rates than 60?

Thanks

60fps is the GH1's limit.
The ideal shutter speed is 1/125th but 1/60th is OK. Never use a shutter speed under 1/60th (i.e. 1/50th) because it drops the GH1's frame rate to 1/30th, thus negating the smooth slo mo ability.
If you have Apple Motion (you should if you're a Final Cut user but I'm not sure if you are), you can slow a 60fps clip down more using "Optical Flow" to get a clip that looks like it was shot at 120fps.

Of course, remember to shoot in SH mode for 60fps -- the FHD mode is 24fps in a 60fps wrapper so it doesn't slow as well. Also, Sony Vegas Pro 9 does a good job of slowing -- here's a slo-mo of a surfer I did in Vegas:

Shoot at 60fps(59.976) (ideally 1/120 shutter) load the clip into premiere.
right click on the file, interpret footage set it to 24fps(23.976) and load it into the timeline
download Twixtor (adobe premiere plug-in) to slow the footage even more
