GH1/GH2: same (exact) lens mount design?

I have a GH1 with 14-42 kit lens and recently tried a 14-42 onto a GH2 body.

I noticed that, while putting the lens on the GH2, there was some tension when turning to lock the lens in; like a spring tension.
This is definitely different from my GH1, as it just turns and locks without any sense of friction. I was wondering if they changed the design for the GH2 or it was just the particular GH2 unit - or perhaps my GH1 may be different?
Maybe this kind of thing varies from unit-to-unit.

I thought the GH1/GH2 are the same lens mount design - maybe not?

Is there any sense of spring tension when you put a lens on your camera or is there no friction at all?

To clarify what I mean; the red dot where you insert the lens is 10 O'Clock and the point where it clicks/is fully mounted is 12 O'Clock:

When I put the lens in the GH2 @ 10 O'Clock then turning; @ 11 O'Clock/slightly more tension, between 11 and 12 O'Clock/the most tension, then clicked in fully at 12 O'Clock.

The GH1 just goes from 10 to 12 O'Clock without any increased tension.
