GH1 Crop Factor w/ Various Lenses

I'm torn between the GH1 and the 5DMkII. The biggest selling point for me is that the GH1 an use a PL adapter to put some killer glass on it, but I know that it has a smaller sensor then 35mm. What kind of cropping am I looking at when I use PL or Nikkon glass. I've got a fairly complete Nikon kit that I'll be using when I'm not running a PL. I'm also curious if anyone has used the Red Pro Primes on a GH1. My buddy just got a set and they'll be available to me at friend prices.

Thanks!

Don't mix up 35 mm movie frame and 135 mm still frame. The latter runs film horizontally and is same size as VistaVision, ie; substantially larger.

If you are used to filming with 35 mm movie cameras you'll get nearly get the same framing on the GH1 for the focal length as the sensor is rather close to the S35 frame. Compared to a full frame Nikon/Canon the field of view is half. My simple rule of thumb: 25 mm is a 'normal', anything longer is tele and anything shorter is wide.

Hot Rod Camera's PL adapter with RPPs sound like the bomb to shoot with if you get a friendly rental price on the lenses. Wish I had a buddy with those, then I'd get the PL adapter in a flash.
