GH1 Contax adapter

Sorry if this is basic stuff, but I am learning lenses as I go. What type of adapter do I need for the GH1 to mount a Zeiss Planar 50mm 1.7 T* Contaz lens? Any links? Is there that much difference between the 1.7 and the 1.4 if it is going to be used in controlled lighting situations?

All the Contax lenses are very nice - I have a bunch of them. Because they are manual focus lenses the focusing is already correct for video work. You'll probably want to remove the aperture detents, though - it's pretty easy to do. In some cases specs, such as breathing, actually exceed what their video primes can do. It's the deal of the century! KEH is a really good source for Contax Zeiss lenses, by the way.

No need for more than one adapter even if you have several lenses because it's just as easy to mount lenses on the adapter as it is to mount the adapter on the camera.

mine looks the same as cbrandin just rebranded from ebay. works very well. you can now get adapters for G series zeiss contax
 
Thanks guys. A photographer friend of mine had told me about KEH. I am trying to "steal" a few lenses on eBay.
