GH1 1080p motion blur?

Hi, I have a question for the guys that shoot in 1080p at 24fps... do you get motion blur? I've been watching and downloading many clips on vimeo and they all have it when people move around. The Canon 7D and Nikon D5000 don't seem to have any. Or, is it the people not using the correct shutter speed?

perhaps a shutter speed issue. motion blur is normal on 1/50th shutter, but also remember, vimeo has had this issue with many videos, so unless it's horrible, i would think it's a big deal.

Every camera in every setting has motion blur. Just depends on the shutter speed and how fast the subject is moving. People could be setting it too slow to make up for the slow kit lens.

Normal motion blur in films you watch on the big screen is usually a shutter set to twice the framerate, so for 24p your shutter should ideally be 48 if you are looking to have a similar look to what you see in most standard narrative films. Of course the GH1 doesn't have a shutter rate of 48 so 50 is the closest you can get. As you reduce motion blur and increase sharpness of moving objects by increasing shutter, you end up with a strobe like effect similar to 'saving private ryan' which can be used for a certain look, but i don't like it, I'd rather have the blur.
