GH-1 Dailies

Not really dailies since we wrapped but some shots from a short shot on the GH-1.

All 720p/60 mostly ISO 400
contrast -2 sharpening -2

Nikkor 24/2.8, Sigma 28/1.8 and Zeiss ZF 50/1.4 and 85/1.4

regular motion is at 1/60th Slow-Motion 1/125th stutter blurry effect is at 1/14th.

Pretty good shots, not sure whats going on. What did you record sound with?

Generally, audio was two lav's going to an HVX that sometimes also doubled as a B cam as well as a boom to a minidisc . I should note that the sound in the videos is just from the on board mic.

Yeah, we probably won't use that take in the end. I kind of just grabbed random shots from each scene.

I have to admit the title of this thread drew me in becasue doing dailies from the GH-1 sucks!!
Now I love the GH1 and hold it in much higher regard than the 7D except for one area and that is post.
I have a bad recollection of spending 2 days of my life doing
FCP log&transfer -> compressor pulldown removal -> mpegstreamclip h264 480p dailies.
Felt like I was doing half of the assistant editors work just to get dailies out asap.
Ok I got that off my chest and had my rant ... sorry to derail the topic.
