GF1 - movies counter reset issue

Hello to alll,
I'm new in the forum,
I have a little issue with my GF1 camera:
every time I format a SD card the "movies" counter is reset to 0
(the "stills" counter is correctly not reset to 0).
This is very annoying for my files management,
I have searched in the menu for a specific setting but I have not found it,
I wonder if this behaviour is present in the GH1 too, I don't think so.
Is this a known issue or there is some menu setting I haven't correctly figured out?
I have done a little search in the manual and here in the forum but didn't found an answer.

thanks for the link,
this is a useful workaround,
you are telling me that it is not avoidable that the movies numbering is zeroed everytime I format the SD card?
 
I have a GH1 and you have to manually re-zero it, but ive never bothered as those numbers are useless and probably get reset everytime i format the card or the firmware anyways.
