getting your FS700 thread

I finally got around to placing my pre-order for the FS700 at B&H. Please let the community know when you get your camera here. B&H is listing the expected date as July 15th, but some NY stores are still honoring the June shipment.
 
Well, i've been checking B&H each day to see if the status has changed. Mine says "Backordered Standard." I assume that's normal for a pre-order and the money will be taken out of my account when the camera does get shipped?
 
My FS700 is actually in the dealer's office here in Melbourne. I can't pick it up today as I'm out of town, but it is in the house!

Received a "Not yet in stock" email from B&H today. I hope it doesn't mean they got some in, but not enough to get to me on the list. Would hate to have to wait for the next batch. I'm new to this, so not sure how often shipments come in. I figure mid-July is when they could be expected here in the States, but hoping for sooner!

Whattt? People from the end of the world are getting they´re 700s and Europe/USA have to wait? :(:crybaby:
 
On the Facebook FS700 page, several British users mentioned they got their FS700s. it did not seem like they had any special pull or anything like that.

I called Samy's camera in Los Angeles, and they said "Any day now." Abel Cine said several weeks, as did B&H. :(

I'm hoping sooner than later. I just got my Metabones and it's just waiting :)
 
Just called Abel about mine and they said July. Asked again about the June 30th date and they said they are getting them on the 30th.
 
Sony US tweeted yesterday, the started shipping - so "anyday" it is for the US.
Europe got lucky this time, Philip Bloom and several of my Brit friends also already have theirs.

Anyone in the USA get their FS700 yet? I saw on Vimeo that someone in San Francisco got one.

B&H is still saying July 15th. Sigh....
 
How are no Americans getting theirs? I mean, this is America I thought we got everything first. The Avengers and now this. What war do we need to start to stop all this?
