Hello there.
I just bought a DVX100A used off a guy on eBay.
I've messed around with it for a while. It's a really nice camera...but I am so lost when it comes to getting the best look on my videos. I'm basically a beginner, so a lot of the stuff I read makes no sense to me.
This weekend, I am going to be using it to film the ATV Nationals at High Point (quads, or 4 wheelers depending on where you're from. All the Pros and fast guys will be there).
I have used this just to film a couple of my friends messing around in 24p and messed around with the shutter speeds and stuff, and I can already tell it's a sick camera, but it seems like I could make it do so much more if I knew what I was doing...
So, how can I adjust the settings on the camera to give me the best look? I plan on getting the footage I am going to capture to make a big riding video for my graduation project for high school. I don't know what kinda look I want, just something that would make a bunch of quads flying around a motocross track look sick, basically...
Anyone give me some basic ideas or tips on what to adjust to what to give me what I might be looking for? The race is this weekend, so I don't really have time to order and study a book...
Thanks guys. Anything will help!
