Getting Footage.......

What's the best way to get footage owed to me for services rendered? I have emailed and gotten the "sure, I'll send it"

Never gotten the footage, and it's already been through the festival circuit. And it's almost been a year.

For reasons like this I always budget for legal representation. A stern letter from my attorney usually does the trick.

a baseball bat and 5 bucks in gas could get it done.

Are you kidding???

This is DOC we're talking about. I'm sure he can show up with a few things more intimidating-looking than a baseball bat. :violent5:

But seriously, try calling them to work it out. If that doesn't work, or you simply can't get a hold of anybody, send them a letter threatening legal action - that would probably get their attention.

Why, whatever do you mean??????

Oh, with these????:

LOL! Picked up 10 more today. German Broomhandle, 2 Korean M16s, a combat shotgun, HK UMP, AK47, German Schmeisser, and a few more.

DOC's gun collection = "gulp."

Yeah, I have a few props laying around under the bed, in the room, in the other room, in the shed, in the garage, in the........well, total count now is 146. You get the picture.

cool Doc...noticed you're in Riverside Co...i'm a bit south. Ever heard of Gold'n'West Surplus in Riverside (City)? i bought a mint lens from them on ebay last week, they seem to have lots of stuff...maybe firearms/props...sot sure.

in fact, my lens (canon fd 50mm 1.4)came mounted inside a heavy metal cylyndrical housing marked "Ventura Police", and i can't find anyone who knows how it would have been used...i'll try to take a photo of it tonight or tomorrow...it's pretty cool, but i just don't know what it is haha

EDIT:...my apologies....this thread has a different point. i didn't mean to deflect.

Here you go...there's threads on both ends, as if it was part of a larger piece of equipment...scope?...traffic cam?...mounted in it was a Canon FD 50mm f1.4 S.S.C. Bought the lens for a GH1 cam...because the lens was in this housing, is was immaculate condition...no sun damage, fading, scratches on glass, no mold/fungus...paid $49 Took these photos with the lens mentioned....mounted for illustration is my 24mm FD

That's surveillance gear. Sweet.
i figured the hole for access to focus meant this was used manually, but the threads on the ends have me interested in what this may have been attached to...the threads on the larger end have an adhesive residue...and being a 50mm lens with not a wide angle, what the hell camera was used without a severe amount of vignetting from being inside a tube....

the thing is heavy for it's size...1/8" thick, looks and sounds(when i tap on it) like aluminum, and machined smooth, but heavy like steel. hmm....well, i don't need it, i was just wondering what the hell it is....
