Just got an HVX200 and P2 Gear.........heres the crapper.....I cant get the P2 Gear to communicate with my computer. so ive been dumping to my external HD. I would rather have the P2 gear be the middle man between the cards and the computer but i cant get it to communicate. is it as simple as the usb ports in the front of my computer arent usb 2.0? i mean im not sure if they are or not. I'm avoiding trying the back ports because of the mess of wires and all......i guess i'm being lazy but also enquiring if anyone knows anyhting about the P2 Gear device. why cant i use the firewire with my PC? I'm lost. Also, the footage i do get on the external when I open with Premiere Pro CS3 with XMF update....the footage plays very choppy, wouldnt mind some insight on that also.
