getting edited footage back into HF100..

There are 2 things I'd like to achieve concerning this topic question.

1. I'd love to export 1 min of bars from Vegas Pro, put that on the SD card
and be able to play it back in the field to setup a field monitor.

2. I'd love to take some footage, edit, color correct...etc in Vegas,
get it back onto the card I can play it on my DLP HD set and others.


Does anyone know the process to do such a thing?
Im not sure exactly the settings,format for export but
I notice also in the SDcard that there are playlists (more things than just the actual video file)

So im guessing this is either a very simplistic thing to do that im clueless about..
or something no one has ever needed to do?
