I am offering here to do some general visual effects and basic CC work to the DVX user community. I do all my work in Adobe After Effects CS3 with the BCC plugin. I can do uprezes, basic gunshots, basic footage cleanup, time remaping etc etc. as well as color correction. For the most part I will do basic visual effects for a nominal fee, unless they are very time consuming or are over long periods of running time. general CC i will charge a fee for depending on the complexity of the desired look/how extensive the CC process will be, but it will likely be much cheeper then most other places you'll go to. i can also mix sound effects in with the visuals, if you provide the SFX.
I wont take any job without first making sure that i can do it, and once I have taken a look at it, I will give you a quote. The price may be per hour or a fixed rate, depending on the complexity of the shot. If your shooting a big budget feature and want highly professional, perfect effects or animation, look else ware because i don't want to pass myself off for something I am not. But, if you are doing a low budget short or what have you, I'll do my best to help you out.
Shoot me a line at skibikefilm (at) gmail (.) com
Or give me a ring at 707 - 961 - 6290 (mailbox 1 and state that you saw Dorys add on DVX User)
Hope to work with you,
Dory
