Hey guys, not sure if this is the right forum but figured I would reach out for anybody to keep their eyes out.

I had my car broken into, and all of my shooting gear was stolen last Tuesday Night. A brief list of some of the gear is listed below:

Panasonic AG-AF100 (with 2 aftermarket batteries)
Sennheiser MKH416 (shotgun)
Sony ECM-77b (lav mic)
Nikon 24mm 2.8/ 105mm 2.5
Sears 50mm 1.4
Manfrotto 502 Head w/ Gray Ravelli Tripod Legs
Lilliput 669GL Monitor (w/ battery pack)

If you see any of this gear together, and it feels like it might be too good to be true, shoot me an e-mail @ brandonmrsh@gmail.com

Thanks guys.

Terrible news, Brandon. Hate to hear stuff like this.

Do you have serial numbers for any of the gear? If so, post them. Might help in locating some of your valuables.

Mind to share the circumstances so we know how to protect ourselves? Was it on lunch break or overnight? Was the gear hidden in the trunk or just back seat?

So sorry to hear that. Have you added notifications for eBay/Craigslist/Kijiji in case it might show up?

Sorry to hear of your loss.
Been to Baltimore many times (with gear), wouldn't leave a lens cap in my car there.
But parked at home & in the trunk? Sounds like someone local--who would have had the opportunity to see what you put in/our of your car (speculating).

Anyhow, if you're looking for active assistance . . . there's been a couple suggestions that you provide serial number info . . .
(at least on the camera, then we'd all be looking to help).

Best.

Sorry to hear that brandon, it sucks to hear things like that. I will not be useful for keeping an eye out here in Austria, nevertheless all the best!

I feel really sorry for you Brandon, but the title of this tread in the "new posts" overview:

"FOR SALE: Gear Stolen in Baltimore, MD"

made my spit my coffee over the keyboard.

Yeah I had the same reaction, thinking to myself "Damn, this guy has no shame at all"! Turns out the thread title is just a bit confusing.

I really hope you find your stolen gear man.

I'm down in NC and will keep my eyes peeled!! Good luck. Do you have serial numbers of any of the equipment by chance?
