For those wondering, this is an EU only thing shooting PAL. USA cameras shooting NTSC fo not have a time limit.

My bad. Looks like they intentionally disable lengthy recording to protect higher priced models. SAD.

Has anyone ever been able to up the internal recording rate on the Panasonic cameras much like people did with NX1?
