G1 and GH1 battery the same?

I have noticed the part number for both differs slightly with the GH1 ending in an E (DMW-BLB13E) Is there any difference between the two? Am I safe getting the g1 battery at B&H for a gh1? It's about $144US here in Australia for one....I can almost buy 3 for the price of one.

I use the G1 batteries in both G1 and GH1. They are identical.

one more strange question, will i have issues buying a battery from an NTSC country for a PAL country? Or will the appropriate adapter for the charger take care of it all?

As I believe even the GF1 has the same type of battery. That would make the GF1 affordable if one is after the 20/1.7 at the same time

no, batteries are not region specific.

Neither is the charger - it handles 110-240V, 50/60 Hz.

I am running the updated firmware. No problem with (genuine) G1 batteries in my GH1 either.
