Don't forget you can burn HDV files directly to a standard DVD and play them
on a Toshiba HD DVD player with no generation loss. Use Ulead's DVD moviefactory
6+ and make sure you have the button "do not convert compliant mpeg files"
checked. It will burn HDV directly to the disk with no conversion.(you can also
convert to hd mpeg2 and load more on the disc. It is lower rez than hdv) Found
Toshiba HD DVD player for as low as $225.00 US. Looks great sold a client an
HD-DVD an gave him a player with the disk.. Ken

It's true, but hardly news. You can burn HD .wmv files into DVD as data and certain DVD players will read that data and display as HD. I have a Buffalo DVD player that'll do that.
