Don't forget about people with slow connections (high percentage of visitors). Can you post some grabs or something smaller? It's like a freakin' amusement ride and you must be "this tall" to ride. Come on, let us ride! ;D

WOW! Pretty good stuff, man! Since the cam was still during the first half, I was thinking "how hard could this be?" THEN :o, you just HAD to go and move the cam, didn't you? Damn, nice tracking! What program/plugins did you use?

AW c'mon PK...It's a well kown fact that there are only three people left on the planet with dial-up connections, I wonder who the other two are ;) Is there no cable at all in tialand?


Hey Braw...That was some pretty awsome work and made me start to mentally plan MY gig, I've always wanted to do that sort of shot. Only problem I saw was with the shaddows on the ship may not have been consistant with the real world footage, but that is a simple fix. other than that It was freaking brilliant...Do some more man, do some more! How did you do the tracking?

Mino - You're right. There's only 3 of us dial-upers left.  Although, the Uni-bomber is in prison now, so it's down to just 2.  There is high-speed in Bangkok and other major cities. ADSL is in this area but it's not much quicker than dial-up. I'll just keep complaining and hope people will come down to my level.  :D

This video sounds amazing. If the guys above say it's great then you definitely should feel proud. Good job.

Nice! I was most impressed when he came of the top of the ladder to the higher vantage point with just a hint of the ship - perfectly tracked - upper screen right. Sexy.

braw - VERY impressive. Someone already said it, but when the camera moves and the object is in the background, excellent tracking. How did you do that? Please share your wisdom Obi-won. WOW!

Pk,
I am person number 2 on dial-up...
Living on a mountainside with a population of 2 people per square 10 miles does not lend itself to High speed being installed by the internet gods.

Thanx for posting the dial-up version.

Excellent work, those shots, especially the tracking shots were flawless. What did you make the uh, ship thing in? By the way, I loved the guys hair, what happened to the rest of his head? I thought the lighting looked great on the ship as well. Your rotoscoping was pretty flawless as well, (when the ship passed behind the guys head). I knew it had to be rotoscoped, but I really couldn't tell.

This kicked ass. Im impressed. My favorite shot was the 'Hand-Held' POV; very impressive. As pro as anything I have seen. I'd like to see you do one that has a rack focus on this element!

Great job! Had a War of the Worlds vibe!
