Funny thing happned on my way to the 7D

Sorry to dig up this post but the T1i just got here last night. Shot some crap this morning. Sorry for the shrubs and kittens but what did you expect it's a test video, all I need now are trains and Asian office buildings and it's 2 legit to quit! Also got and used the 50mm f1.8 lens, best $100 you'll ever spend for a lens! 720-30p, aperture locked to 1.8 outside using twist trick, inside was auto, I think. Neutral picture setting in camera. Posted with a little Magic Bullet, "Color Reversal" preset then tweaked to soften the contrast. Rendered to WMV 30p 6mbps.
Impressions: Over all easy to use. 50mm fl.8 lens looks good, 18-55 kit lens not so much. Image quality has lots of chroma noise and aliasing especially compared to it's big brothers. CMOS skew (jello) not nearly as bad as I expected. With the IS on the kit lens it's almost unnoticable other than the worst possible conditions. LCD screen is very good, very sharp; I found it easy to pull focus with the 50mm; a little bit harder with the 18-55 which isn't as sharp. Using the "twist trick" and AE lock button, it's pretty easy to get decent exposures most of the times, manual would be SOOOOOO much better of course. Maybe some of the louder owners should start harassing Canon! For the price it's surprisingly usable. If it's gonna be a while before you can get or afford a GH1, 5D2 or 7D quite yet, this is a solid starter option to get some work done!
As far as stills, I haven't really shot that many but it seems on par with other crop DSLRs I've used, Nikon D40, D70s, Canon 30D. I'm not really a stills guy so it's just my layman's opinion.

Gonna shoot a music video partially with this next Tuesday, so gonna practice more, need to actually leave the house and find faces to shoot... with a camera that is. Still havent decided if I'm gonna tripod the video or go hand held, so I REALLY need to practice.
