This is the full montage of the timelapse sequences I have shot in London in early December 2010 with the 550d. Enjoy in HD and with sound, and let me know what you think.

how to do these timelapse sequences
just we need to keep the camera in recording mode for hours and while editing we need to fast forward

r will be any other trick ?

I assume that most of the camera movement was done in post. However, the shot around 1:45 looks jittery; was the camera moved while recording?

These are stills shot using an intervalometer at regular time intervals (for instance 1 sec) and usually with a long shutter speed (for instance 0.8 sec) for more fluid motion. The stills are then put together to generate a video sequence at the desired framerate.

Apart from the camera and intervalometer, you need a tripod, batteries, memory cards and a lot of patience :)

All motion was added in post indeed. I noticed the jitter @ 1.45 too. I don't know. Must have been instability of the low quality travel tripod that I have used on the slippery and uneven ground.
