Kudos to ProfessorU for his very helpful site. I recently purchased some 16GB cards and was nervous about doing the firmware upgrade, but it turned out to be a snap.

I'm not sure that you can legally provide the username and password. I think the safest thing to do is to provide the link to the instructions that cause the information to be e-mailed to the requester.

Since I didn't have to agree to not share the username and password and they didn't explicitly state that I can't share the username and password, I'm comfortable toeing the line right now. We'll see what changes. It's frustrating that Panasonic is making their download process so unnecissarily complicated.
