Fuji XT3 10 bit 4k 60p

Fuji should have been able to rip many other cameras apart and learn faster. I really think it is the processing power needed to handle their different color filter array, not the APS sensor size.

Maybe, but there is a correlation between processing power and sensor size as well.

If not, then we would have had more than one (1DX Mark II) 4K/60p APS-C/FF DSLR/mirrorless camera in the last 5 years.

I will rent before I buy or just wait for other users to speak about the items that aren't great.

Though the sensor wide AF would be nice for still, as would the increased resolution.

Looks to be a nice camera. Great to see the photo industry accepting 10bit video as a must have more and more. It will really have arrived when (if) Canon ever adds 10bit internal. We will see if the Fuji has internal 10bit or not.

I'm doubtfull about the 10bit. If they get rid of the 4K crop like in the XT2 this camera will be so sweet.

If the sensor can do 4k 60p I am thinking it can handle 4k 10 bit. I don't think it will have 60p 10bit in 4k but 4k 30 and 24p yes.

Who knows though. Even a 10bit out would be very cool. Crazy thing is some of Canons pro cameras don't even have internal 10bit.

The X-T20 has no crop in 4k so I am guessing the XT3 won't either.

As a stills shooter, the Fuji form factor is looking mighty nice but that RAW is soooo tempting.

I suspect that many of us are looking for that "one camera does all" solution

As, as a "hobbiest" that one camera thing would be nice. I have two (functional) GH2 for 1080 video and an old XT1 for stills. Don't really need to upgrade anything but it would be nice to have a single camera platform to haul around. Not sure that an XT3 or a BMD 4k pocket are even in my future because need is lower than desire.

I don't mind having two camera systems. Though why not have one if you can get away with it. I'll probably get a black magic pocket, when I save up the money. But Fuji is better for me. If I just want to video with minimal grading the Fuji image can't be beat. Auto focus is really important to me as well and its not even a thing with Black magic.

They have AF but it’s the push-to-focus and it hunts. Not useable and no continuous, of course.

I don't think that particular person (YouTube account) would lie, but I guess you never know.
