FS700 raw on the Atomos Shogun??

Jeremy of Atomos says in this interview (https://vimeo.com/109238545) after talking about how the Shogun will record CDNG from the FS700 in future firmware roll outs a couple of months after product release "we have tested, we can run this thing at 60p, 4k, and we'd be happy to do 240 frames per second, but as we develop further, we'll be giving those updates in Atomos style for free".

It's not entirely clear, he's not necessarily talking about FS700 there and I imagine he doesn't want to commit to anything but by mentioning 240fps I think he's implying they're going to try and get the FS700 2k 240fps raw to CDNG working, as well as presumably 4k 60p raw and that will be a future free update. I doubt they'll do any 4k2HD mode because that's more complex or the 4k 120fps buffered and for all we know they might not actually achieve full 240fps raw. BUT, it's looking like a strong alternative to Odyssey 7Q for the future, especially for those who have an A7s. I imagine they might be clearer on the future firmware after they've done the product release. It looks like CD have already responded to an extent with their temporary price drop. I'm personally going to wait until the Shogun release and 4k compressed 7Q firmware update (that appears to be imminent) before I pick one of these two up. I've been waiting on the O7Q for a while as I still hear a lot of griping about F/W and I'd rather have compressed options than raw options so still haven't pulled the trigger. It's getting to the point where I might consider the Shogun instead now, either way, having good competition is great for us consumers.
