FS700 menu/functions frozen (happened after disconnection from ATEM)

So I'm hoping there is a lock menu/screen function I don't know about and after a quick search I'm not so sure.

I can record, but I can't do anything else like change shutter speed, frame rate, anything at all I can't do.

The only thing I can think of is it was on a boxing production I do for internet/tv last minute I had a guy operate it which is a long story, but essentially I had to do that weird 30p setting that sort of fits w/ 60i ... anyway, I think the operator just disconnected it. That shouldn't be a problem, but just wanted to give the background as to the last time it worked.

If anyone has encountered this phenomenon I'm all ears - I'd like to get back to regularly scheduled programming.

Thank you thirdyearff! I have never used that switch and was unaware it existed! I've also learned not to let anyone touch my stuff anymore ;)

odd you can still record.

It's a while since I've had an FS700 but there is a tiny little reset button just above the PLAY button on the top panel of the FS700. It's accessed through a tiny hole. Have you tried doing a "reset" via this little press switch. The drill was power the camera down for a couple of minutes, power back up and press rest. A straightened out paper clip will fit. NOTE! It will do a complete back to factory reset bar the clock. That may unfreeze it. Modern cameras are really computers of sorts with an analogue light capturing capability. It's a sort of CTRL, ALT, DELETE thing for a camera:)

Cool...glad that was it. I feel your pain, I didn't know about it either...until I somehow enabled it on a shoot...lessons learned!
