FS7: FS7 view finder

I keep seeing Sony FS7 put on ebay for sale without viewfinder - Are FS7 viewfinder easy to buy ?
Wonder what happens to those unit
 
That seems pretty odd. Are you talking the monitor VF or just the tube EVF attachment?

The VF is an essential piece as its the only guaranteed 'on' feed from the camera. Even when I only use aftermarket monitors or EVF I keep the VF in my bag in case the feed messes up and I need to access the menu to correct.
