Just got my Metabones EF to E adapter from Sony gift program. Took a month and it works fine.
I tried the trick of putting lens in the adapter, holding that button down, mounting in the FS7 then while still holding the button down turning off the camera. Looks like Advanced mode is the new default and I can remove lenses without removing the adapter every time . Thanks to whoever found that one out.
Also noticed another little trick that was new to me at least. I hate the steppy iris changes but discovered that during a large change from say a dark part of a room to a brighter one, if i engage the push auto iris button I seem to get a much less steppy change . Quite useable for some circumstances.
