Thanks for reply. Understood. I actually found a YouTube clip on "Paparazzi: Next Generation" from the Beeb. Guess there were a couple of series.

It was this sort of lunacy after chasing "The Move" pop group for three days solid after Harold Wilson the PM sued them over a postcard that made me switch to Nikon F using their motor drive backs.

IF that's real (and that's a big IF), then you're right, it could definitely be IT as far as I'm concerned.

Thanks for your deeper interrogation of my original question BTW, you're right there are many different "nearly perfect" answers out there, and unfortunately for me, part of me is still holding out for the 'no compromise correct answer'. I think part of that impulse derives from the fact that the last whole camera I bought was my FS7 back in 2015 (almost five years ago to the day FFS), was exactly that for me.

Regardless, given the current pandemic, and the resulting hit on likely future work prospects, I think I won't be rushing out to drop several grand on the next big thing. Hopefully by the time the dust settles and things get back to (some semblance of) normal, I will have my perfect answer awaiting me in a shiny new FX6-shaped box.

Josh, great points. Well said.

After reading more about the a7iii I sure wish I had one of those instead of my a7sii..... but not QUITE worth the upgrade given the frequency of use....

fx6 would be neat, but I wouldn't be able to replace my fs7 or my a7sii because it occupies a different role. By the end of it I'll have a million cameras MUAHAHAHAHA (dr evil)
