FS7: FS7 and Samurai blade or external recorder

Hello,
Can the FS7 output Prores 422HQ in FullHD directly to an external recorder like a Samurai Blade (SDI) or Ninja (HDMI) without the additional XDCA extension unit behind the camera?
What would be the highest framerate it would be capable of in this way (given that the external recorder would need to be able to follow suit as well)?
Any quality differences compared to shooting Prores this way compared to the rear extension unit?
Lastly B&H states that it can:
4K (4096 x 2160) is available over the 3G-SDI outputs or the HDMI 2.0 output of the camera so you can capture the 4096 x 2160 video using an optional external recorder

But it is unclear to me if they are referring to the ability of the camera to do this without the rear extension unit or not (I am not referring to shooting RAW here)...

Well I'm not an engineer but I'm pretty sure that the 10 bit signal from the camera can be recorded in any codec you want. My F3 didn't record ProRes in camera , but the 10 bit SDI signal could be recorded by a Samurai in 422 10 bit if you set it up that way. Or in DNXHD for that matter . Meanwhile you can be recording XAVC or MPEG2 in the camera.
Don't know about from rates. I doubt the rear extension unit would make a difference unless you were recording from RAW like a 7Q can.

As far as I know the FS7 can output 4k or UHD from the HDMI port only. SDI is 1080 only but 10 bit 4:2:2 and can be used with any external recorder. I doubt you gain much by doing external recording from the FS7 apart from doing raw video but even then it will not differ much compared to internal recording in real life.

It will be the same frame rate as your base rate, so the only frame rates are 23.98, 25, 29.97, 50 and 59.94.
