FS5: Fs5 output & recorders

Hello,

I'm trying to get clear infos on the actual output of the FS5.
So far it doesn't seem to me to be an S700 replacement on the outputs side.

I'ld like to know actual outputs : size, 4K UHD or real 1.85 4K ?/ 4.2.2 ? / 10 or 8bits?

Does anyone know about future upgrades?
I hear there will be raw, But in UHD or 1.85 ?

Even though the fs5 outputs 4K , the Odyssey doesn't work yet. works fine in HD but not in 4K. Seems that it will be in raw 4K in the future.

I ld like to use it with an external recorder, however 10bits 4.2.2 is essential and 1.85 4K format too.

Thanks for your help

HDMI - UHD 3840 x 2160
3G-SDI - 1080p

paid raw upgrade via 3G-SDI same as on the fS700 in the distant future.

Bit depth in UHD is 8-bit, HD is 10-bit.

The Odyssey7Q+ works with it jus fine as long as the camera is not set to internal recording. Just record on the Odyssey7Q+. The Odyssey7Q doesn't work on it for UHD because the camera currently only sends out the UHD signal over HDMI. The Odyssey7Q can only see HD over HDMI; the Odyssey7Q+ can see UHD over HDMI.

The camera will have a RAW option made available for it in the future, and both models of the Odyssey will be able to read this RAW data just fine with the Odyssey RAW Bundle activated.

Thanks for these infos. In terms of shooting short films I'll still be using my FS700 and hope the upgrade will come soon.

I just tested the FS5 and its really frustrating not to have 4K 10bit output yet because the image is so good !
The skin ! It just looks like real skin !! :)

Does the FS5 SDI output a progressive or interlaced signal? I'd like to use a Blackmagic Video Assist which does not have 3:2 pulldown removal.
