I'm off to Port Au Prince for 2 weeks tomorrow morning. I'll be bringing the FS and my 7D along. When I was there last year, the 7D took some pretty good abuse. Dust, rain, more dust, blistering heat, dust, mud. A little nervous about the FS100 holding up, but that's why we have insurance, right?
I'm traveling light, here's my setup. Trying to be as inconspicuous as possible with the FS100, but still have it be functional.
(Zacuto EVF will be off the left from the Berkey top plate) Sony handle on the right side. Setup like a standard camcorder.
Lenses
Tokina 11-16 2.8
Tokina 16-50 2.8
Nikon 80-200 2.8
Nikon 35 2.8
I'll also have a glidecam 2000 with the 7d on it.
and a Go Pro for stealth mode and blog video.
I'll be posting updates and screen grabs when I can on my blog. So if you're interested in following the trip, check it out.
