FS100 flying 50mph on RC helicopter

On our cottage vacation we decided to put our FS100 on our RC helicopter. This is what we got. Our gimbal stabilization failed after the first flight so we had to do quite a lot of post stabilization. I'll admit that colour grading isn't the best either. The whole project took four hours to film and another four hours to edit, mostly stabilization. The spots likely came from the old dock we were landing on. I'm now regretting not spending more time in post but it was intended to be just for fun. We usually just rent out our aerial video services hand the aerial footage over to the client production company to work with so all that post stuff really isn't our specialty anyway. The video was shot in 60p and slowed down in many places.

What helicopter did you use? Any problems with the weight?

It's a Gaui X7 with lots of modifications an upgrades. This shot was taken about a month earlier.

No problems with the weight at all. The helicopter is capable of flying much heavier cameras like the RED Epic.

I was searching Google with the OP's copter name and came accross the link I posted. I am not sure if it is the same copter. But the video at the bottom of the page has RC copter flying like I never imagined. So I posted the link mentioning the video at the bottom. Best case the Google search did get me t othe same copter and it is in the video, worse case I linked to some wild copter flying video.

I hope that's okay. Sorry I don't have enough RC knowledge to figure out if the OP's copter and the link share a common model. But the video completely changed my idea of RC copter flying. Hopefully the link does go to a video of RC copter stunt flying. Even better if it is the same as the OP's.
