SOLD!

I have an HMC40 for sale with an AG-MYA30 XLT adapter and UV filter.

THe HMC40 was purchased new from B&H 3/22/10 and has 6 hours on the clock, and the XLR adapter was also purchased from B&H but it is left over from our DVC-30 days. The XLR adapter was not used very much, but it is two years old, and works fine.

We bought this camera to be a second HD camera with our HMC150. The quality of the video is great and it matches up very well with the 150, but here is my issue. My wife is the second shooter, and as much as I love her, and as artistically talented as she is, she has a hard time with "technology". Which means she has to ask me what button to push, what knob to turn, etc. If she can't shoot everything in "AUTO", I am her information resource. For me trying to do my own shooting and have to remember not only how to work my own camera, but to tell her how to do something on a totally different camera, is more than my brain can handle. We're going to buy another HMC150 so we can keep everything the same.....

We have all the cables, the original boxes, manuals, etc. and I'll ship to the 48 states via UPS Ground.

$1850 gets it all including the shipping. That's $100 cheaper than B&H current price for the HMC40 and the XLR adapter is free.........

Feel free to contact me if you have any questions.

Having just sold two DVC-30s on ebay, knowing how much it cost to sell them with ebay fees and paypal fees, I don't see how these "new" HMC40s on ebay can be totally above board, and be sold at those prices. I would be worried that they are not US cameras. Note that there is no mention of factory warranty on that listing, they mention 1 yr "limited" warranty.

There is at least two years of USA warranty left on THIS camera. The original 1 year factory warranty provided by Panasonic Japan is NOT transferrable. However, the 2 extra years which Panasonic USA has added at registration, IS transferable to a new owner.

So, in short, you can buy this camera and have a guaranteed two year warranty from Panasonic, or take your chances on the "bargain".

I do have some footage from this cam. The only stuff that gone through editing so far is mixed in with our HMC150 in this clip The rest of what has been shot is waiting on my editor (the dear Mrs.) to work over.

You did notice that the HMC40 is already sold.....
