FS-100/Variable frame rates

hi,
is it possible to capture and edit PAL variable frame rates with the fs-100 and FCP.
having great difficulty.
running FCP 5.1.4....FS100 3.0.

I'm not in PAL land, give Focus a call. Problem is, the Frame Rate Converter in FCP is NTSC only, I belive. And the FS-100 doesn't offically do VFR in it's Native modes at this time.
 
You could do it on the PC platform if you recorded as MXF, then used Raylight to strip out the pulldown of the recorded files, and then export the files using P2 Maker to turn them into a virtual P2 card which could be then imported by FCP.

Not exactly an elegant workflow, but I bet it'd work if you can't find any other way.
 
If the PAL HVX does it, the FS-100 3.0 I believe should do it, also. But Focus would have to verify that.
