FS-100 Upgrade problem

Half my clips import incorrectly with Avid Xpress Pro 5.6.4

just wondering if the most recent version of FCP is having this problem as well.

If you're using FS-100 with firmware 3.0 and Avid, contact Focus ASAP. There is a known Avid bug, I thought an audio thing, and that they are working on it, from what I understand.
 
Just to drop an update - received an eMail from the Avid engineer I have been dealing with who informed me that they are getting an FS4ProHD from Focus on monday for 'testing'.

He also stated that even though the FS100 is qualified the FS4ProHD is not (which is odd considering that the files are created in the exact same way) - the FS4ProHD and the FS100 are almost duplicates with a minor difference in recording formats. Although recording .m2t HDV is the same in both drives.

So, things are moving on the Avid side - albeit slowly - but they are moving.
 
Whoa! Your Avid engineer is WAY off base! The FS4ProHD does NOT do DVCPRO-HD, and the FS-100 does NOT do HDV. The fils are NOT created in the "exact same way", as they are not the same format of files. To say that recording m2t is the same on both drives is blatantly false. The FS-100 does not make m2t files, that's an HDV thing, and the FS-100 does NOT do HDV at all.

You are zakery correct. I made the mistake of ordering the FS4 ProHD. for my HVX200. Then I noticed my mistake. Its a little misleading to say ProHD. they should say ProHDV. Anyone need a FS4ProHD Brand new in BOX $1500.00

I am selling it to a friend who I sold my FX1 too, He is waiting for his tax refund. and I already purchased the FS100. All is well.
