FS 100 to External Drive to FCP 6

So received this project that was shot on the HVX 200 on to the fire store. They dumped the drive several times onto an external HD but i don't think that they "organized p2" before transferring the file structure on to the HD. And I don't know if they transfered the file structure completely. All of the flies are there, the xml's mxf's and the other one can't remember it right now. How would I get the files or read the XML's in final cut. I also have avid media composer if there is some program that can translates the files in there. Oh, and I did try searching the forums but didn't not find the information that I was looking for. Thanks
 
If they didn't do the "organize P2" step, you're in trouble. Your best bet would be to rent a FireStore, copy the files back over, and run "organize P2". Other than that, you can try manually rescuing the files:

With the Avid you shouldn't have nearly as much problem, you can just copy the audio and video files into the mediafiles/mxf/1 directory and Avid should be able to suss it out.
 
I tired putting the footage back on the FS 100 and organizing p2 but i could not get it to work. Does anyone where each of the subfiles are suppose to go within the FS 100. I would really like to try that first before I try to manually recover each file.
 
Tried that but it only allows 10 sec clips. Don't want to buy it since I am just trying to help these guys out and it is not my project. Anyone know the folder structure on the FS 100?
