FS-100 and "reels"

I'm about ready to give up on figuring this out, but is anyone up to speed on saving files to the specific numbered folders as created on the FS-100?

I assumed these folders numbered 0-9 are in fact the "reels" as referred to in the poorly written manual, but then... who knows?

All I want to do is store files as they're captured to one of the 9 folders so as to organize the files in some manner. I've assigned the FA and FB buttons to show R1 and R2 so I can set the "currently selected reel" prior to capture and still, the files show up together in their own single uniquely named folder, not in one of the 1 through 9 folders.

I am doing the "organize reel" and "organize p2" function after capture but these files are still showing up together in a numbered folder.

Am I missing something?

You can assign any or all of the 3 function buttons on the unit (apparently) to mark clips for one or 3 folders on the drive (at a time.) That way you can pre-organize files so you don't have to spend all kinds of time later looking at all the files in order to separate them out. I'm just starting to figure it out and apparently you can also pre-name the folders on the unit.
