You live in a country whose economy differs from the states or europe. The value would be totally different. Are there any other video guys out there? Ask them how much they charge to shoot.

heh.. says the guy named 'kastro' to the guy in cuba... lol

YOU WILL CHARGE $200usd PER VIDEO! I SAID SO!! ;) .. But seriously, you'd have to ask some people over there. :)

EeDobarganes,

Unfortunately even here in the states the costs vary from state to state, even from county to county. So to encapsulate the rest of the world outside of cuba would not be possible.

Example even in my area:
I've seen videographers shoot for $300 a day. I've also seen some charge $150 for a whole project. Some larger cities would charge quite a bit more.

My suggestion to you would be to offer a price you would be comfortable in receiving as a 'special price'. See how much business you generate. If you get overwhelmed, then maybe raise the price a bit after your 'special'. If you state "I charge XYZ" then when you raise your price people will look at you like 'wow.. why?' If you have a "special", when your "special" is over people will not look at you funny when you raise your price because the price they initially saw was the "special" price.

Take into consideration equipment that you have as well. If you only show up with a single camera that doesnt even have a battery grip, then its pretty clear you're 'just starting out' so why pay the "market rate". If you show up with lights/external audio/2nd cameraman, then you look a bit more "professional" in the eyes of the consumer and they would be willing to shell out more $$. Although you can probably complete the task with a single cam, if you want to "charge more" you have to grow and it has to be justified to the client.

Hope that makes sense.

So to quote Justin "How much do you think you can get?"

GL EeDobarganes. :)
