Ya know, everyone thinks cause me a asian, I drive like a supped up Honda of some sort. Nope, a 94 ford tarus! Plus I suck at math and my american name is Chad not Chang.  ;) ;D

Yep, director is obviously cute. Loved the last one, the first one, and of course, the pink flower.

You know we should have some kind of Rotoscoping tutorial for AE if anyone is kind enough to lend their time. I did see the coldplay video which used the same effect.

Well done!

I agree with Peter_Gaudry. There is plenty of talent on this server... and if they could share their knowledge, even amateurs like us could benefit from them.

Any1 willing to start?

Oh snizaps! I got to see this film! lol, well at least the short version. She said a lot of stuff was cut out cause she didn't have enough time to edit. But I thought the short version was still good and easy to understand.

They look nice. The interior shots don't look as good as the exteriors, but that is pretty predictable in a low/no budget film (the inside locations are not as interesting because they need permission, while the exteriors only need permits...).

The wide shot of the dining room looks too muddy in relation to the others, so adding some contrast is fundamental. The color is also twisted to red/brown, so I'd take that off as well.

But for a first effort, this is really quite an accomplishment, the crew must be congratulated!

I like the high-contrast-almost-blown-out look in 8 and 11. It reminds me of sort of a "Dawn of the Dead" (2004) process. Nice shots overall, I'd love to see some clips.

Bluespider, is this being shot in Northern California? It looks like the almond orchard between Sacramento and Chico. The woman in the upper left shot has beautiful eyes.

If you've seen one orchard you've seen them all. The orchards were actually shot in Salida, California.

Thanks for the comments people.

The orchard is nice for me because of the symetrical composition, the blossoms, etc... it can have some nice symbolism. It's something we don't often slow down to observe...keep it up!

Really good stuff - would love to see these in full 720 x 480, y'know to get a real idea of how they look!

Nice work

that could have also been done through selective color correction. Choose everything but pinks and then desaturate
