Free Software To Track E Series p2 Cards Lifespan

I'm hearing that there will be free software to track the lifespan of the E series p2 cards. I received an e mail from an authorized dealer announcing the pricing and mentioning the free tracking software. Nothing more than that.

Anyone have any information on these reports, and of course whether this software will be both Mac and PC if it is made available?

My understanding is it's in the P2 Formatting Station software, which is dual platform.
