Freakin Awesome Video

i liked it, short, sweet, cool cinematography, reminded me of tony scott's visual style.

i'm a little confused though, this is this your film right? just the way you've titled the thread and the way you bignote the film it sounds as if you're just forwarding us to something that you found that isn't yours cause you don't refer to it personally in any way. i know it's your film from the name simpson but it just seemed odd in your post that's all :P

Visually stimulating, although a little cliche. Much of it seemed video esque. No storyline. Seemed a lot was blown out, too much of the time. Just my opinion, nothing else.

Thought the blown out look suited a mood that worked.
Killer is not a raving maniac. Deliberate, premeditated mudder.
Some might have gone over the top with anger.
Actor did a great job.
Vengeance. Cool and calculated.
Rain worked, as did the music.
At the end of it all,---the killing is sad.
The killer was acting more out of duty, like a hit man, than someone motivated by passion.
What I got is that he had a job to do,---one he didn't relish. But a job that had to be done.
Powerful IMHO.
I liked it a lot.

I dug it. Simple, but fairly effective. I think the music really made it. What song is that, by the way?

One too many zoom in/outs for my taste, but I really enjoyed it. Good pacing as to not lose the viewer's interest (something I've screwed up myself in the past) and the weather added something extra to the film's mood and atmosphere.

Thanks dudes and dudettes. Yeah, this was something I did, and yes it was shot on a DVX. We turned the shutter up, overexposed it, and CC with some MAgic Bullet Filters is all. I know everybody says this but it really was something we threw together in about 3 hours (the rain cancelled our original plans) so we didnt have a story or anything, just having fun. We planned to begin production on a short called The Photographer but it was supposed to be sunny. Darn rain. Anyway, heres something we did a few months ago.

Ive found a study of photography really helps your video work. Thanks all for your comments.

Very cool video. I liked the feel of it. Wasn't crazy about the handheld, shaky footage but it still kept my attention. Awesome choice of music.

I thought this was fun; even if a prime example of what is wrong in todays filmmaker world; quick cut hand held snap zoom shaky cam is no substitute for lacking an understanding of the film langauge

Still entertaining and very Tony Scott feeling. Nice job overall

and

Kate Bush did it better
