C300: Four Cameras. One Promo. GH4, C300, HPX370 and a 70D Time Lapse.

We are so lucky to have amazing cameras to use for our productions now. I 'm thrilled with how easy it is to get the shots I needed to help tell the story/message. Last week I finished a spot that needed some fresh footage and I decided to use the GH4 instead of the C300. Why? Because I can! I'm a rebel! LOL! Having the ability to shoot in 4K and recompose the shots in an HD project is powerful. I shot the B-roll during a live newscast so I had limited locations to shoot from. Check out my updated blog post on using the GH4 with the Cinema EOS cameras. I hope it helps you if you decide to use the GH4 in your productions.

And damn detailed blog post for those who have a GH4! I've shot with it a couple times now and really like the image out of it. Not in the market for a 2nd camera yet unfortunately, although I may be leaning more towards the a7s if I decide to pull the trigger in the near future!
