The newer Fotga Follow Focus raised some eyebrows around here, sub $200 unit that seems like a remarkable value. Lots of us grabbed one, including me.
I keep my DSLR rig on rails with matte box and FF and loupe assembled in a roller case that fits it well and allows me to just grab the whole unit and start shooting when we move. Pulled it out the other day and realized all three screws (stop screws and the index screw) had worked loose and dropped away. Found them in the deep corners of the case, but this worried me. I've had the drive gear loosen up as well.
On Amazon i spotted... a set of all the screws for five bucks... AND a 49mm "big lens" lens-drive gear and thumbscrew assembly. $5 for that one too.
These are both "add-on" items, meaning you have to spend $25 to get the low price. But seriously, isn't there always something waiting in your Amazon cart?
It's a killer find for Fotga users and saves buying a backup unit.
