I've attatched some pictures (Some items are absent from photo's, but everything listed is included) The Camera has been well taken Care of, great cosmetic and operational condition. Focus ring still has good smooth movement, and the camera is Solid.

The Miller Tripod have made people jelous. It's film style in Operation and has an actual locking mechanism, unlike the common lower end head tighten tension to lock which I think is just stupid. The lock should be independent of your fluid settings! Also in my opinion is the 0 pan and.or Tilt fluid setting which makes for a great handheld alternative. Moving up to an O'conner, otherwise I wouldn't let these go.

BUYER BEWARE. I hate to do this here, because I've had great experiences buying from Dvxusers (a Vidled, a P2 store, a trimount, batteries, etc...), but this is a public service.

I bought his Miller tripod (he talked me into wiring the money directly into his bank account because he had trouble with PayPal...this should have tipped me off).

I paid $130 for shipping which Allen assured me included $900 insurance (he listed the value at $200 on the form, no mention of insurance). I contacted him and asked him to start the insurance process, but I've heard nothing.

When the tripod arrived it looked like it had been through a war. It's just beat beyond belief, NO plate assembly pins or screws were left, a useless Manfrotto camera screw was jammed into what was left of a shredded camera plate. An allen key was jammed into the rusted out screw on the side of the plate (to lock it). Four of the eight clutches (fluid controllers) are worn and pretty much useless. The leg locks are on their last legs. The tech at Miller Canada was shocked that somebody would sell this for anything other than parts.

The worst part, I needed it to shoot that night, and the tilt lock lever was snapped off and lay at the bottom of the cardboard packaging. Allen let me know that he couldn't be responsible because I may have snapped it off myself (I contacted Allen while the FedEx guy was still in my house). Interestingly, the tilt lock lever would have had to find its way through a labyrinth of packing materials to make it (conveniently) to the bottom of the box, which leads me to believe he actually shipped it like this (although, in all fairness, it is possible that FedEx snapped it off during shipping).

I took the tripod to Miller Canada and had it repaired just enough to use it ($300). Allen has yet to respond to my email asking him to cover that cost.

If you absolutely must deal with this guy, make sure you use PayPal or some form of payment that provides protection/insurance.

Damn, sorry for the bad experience. Hope this guy has a good excuse for you.:-HeadPhones(D

The moment ANYONE tells me wire transfer I say GOODBYE have a great day. Just the fact that someone is even interested in a wire transfer SCREAMS out SCAM to me. And here is another classic example. Sorry to hear about what happened. Hope it gets resolved but I doubt it.

If this is true ? People like this should be banned from selling items on this forum. It sure makes it hard for the honest people.

Not all wire transfer has problems.

In Europe, wire transfer is free. this save the 3-4% that paypal is charging.

I've done it with a few members here and there was no problems at all. You just have to check his buying and selling histories...

FilmTV I'm sorry that this should happen to you. Well, this will have a impact on him trying selling his HVX to the rest of us here.

Allen , hope you try to make it right , because what goes around comes around...
