footage match well with Canon HF-S10?

Hello,
Will this HD footage match well with the Canon HF-S10 HD footage?

Also, could someone please explain the 12 minute recordings on this camera? Does it create a new clip after 12 minutes like using the Firestore unit or does the camera shut off or stop recording at the 12 minute mark? Explain. Thanks.
