Hi Diego
I have a GH1 PS3 and macbook pro same as you plus an imac.
You can put your SD card into a USB reader and run the AVCHD files direct on your PS3 to check that the camera is working well.
Put SD card in reader and plug into macbook, make a copy of the card first as a back up.
Remove card.
Open FCP log and transfer copied card to Prores 422 or Prores Lt
Choose files edit, then export to Quicktime Movie - current settings and tick make movie self contained.
You will now have a big file that can be down converted for the web........the quickest way is to open the new quicktime movie in QT 10 and "Save as" "Format" "HD 720p" or "1080p".
The large file will stutter a bit on the macbook pro unless you reduce the playback size to about half the screen. Once you have reduced it to H.264 with the lower bitrate for the web it will be fine.
Hope this helps.
cheers
Paul
