Follow focus unit for 5d/7d?

I recently worked with Bruce Dorn, who was the DP for a feature being shot on 5ds and is a Canon Explorer of Light. He makes and sells this follow focus that is gearless. This doesn't require rod supports and all that, either.

that thing is totally awesome. definitely picking up that "run and gun" rig. we use that a lot and i have a shoulder rig that works perfect with it. thanks for this input.

redrock v2...awesome piece of gear

I have the RR V2 also and it's okay. The marker is flimsy and could bend or snap off very easily. Also, the gearbox is a bit on the fat size so using a wide angle prime would be difficult since the box would touch the camera body. I do like to quick release, though.

I am currently looking for a replacement and the Shoot35 V2 looks pretty solid. Plus the gearbox and mount is only 16mm wide so it won't be as difficult to use with wide angle lenses.
