i'm sure there will be plenty of third party options for this, but since red has such badass designers i think it would be sweet if they designed a flight case for the red one. Something that could fit carry-on, with room for one small lens mounted on the camera, and maybe one extra. Also have it big enough for one cage (the 3 handle possibly) and red follow focus. It should be some what form fitting and inconspicious (no big red logo). It would be an added bonus if the front opened up enough for a lens to see out and also open up the top so you could place the lcd on top of the camera.
i also wonder if with one of the cage designs and a red follow focus it might be possible to hand hold the camera and pull focus. a shoulder mount would work, but i prefer to brace the camera with two hands (fig rig or 3 handle cage style). I feel like the 2 handle system allows for a much larger variety of shots for a narrative piece, especially if you are tall.
while we are on the subject of cages, what if red designed a Redwater (for filming sharks of course) cage. Again, i know that there will be third pary options, but with all the configurations possible with this camera, many will be going the custom route with their underwater case. Red could build an optimized underwater cage system for use with there smaller primes that had mounting points for lights and what not.
