Fliegende Ratten rough-cut

Re: Fliegende Ratten rough-cut

wow. it has a very filmlike look to it. I watched it twice even though i didn't understand a word. like to see more. :)

Re: Fliegende Ratten rough-cut

that was awesome. my favourite shot was the smoky scene where the girl is trying to open the sliding door, beautifully lit. some of the others felt a little too dark, but that's just my taste.

it felt a little long in a couple of the cuts but ended up creating a really uncomfortable tension, so maybe that's a good thing :)

great work!

GENAU ;)

the story "Bagdad" - we planned to shoot a scene there in the backyard, but they wanted 7,000€ for one shooting day.... we had 1,000€ budget for the whole film.. but we stayed good friends with them, every shooting day wrap ended up there...

thanks!

the girl trying to open the door, as well as all those outdoor night are available light! i'm very excited about this fact.. was amazing to see how much you can shoot with available city lights at night, in case anyone asks about the DVX low-light capabilities...

besides that, this quicktime looks dark too on my computer monitor.. it looks brighter originally / on DVD.

danke!

goodluck with your project... happy if i succeed in giving hope to other indie ninjas around the world :)

yes, it was one camera. post is happening right now as we speak (or type...). we apply to some festivals with the rough cut, but looks like editing will take some time until final cut is ready.
